  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the sugar and softened butter until light and creamy. Add eggs, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and milk alternately until fully combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour batter into the baking dish and bake for 18-20 minutes until slightly underdone. Allow to cool completely.
  5. In a bowl, combine diced strawberries with granulated sugar; set aside.
  6. For the frosting, beat cream cheese with heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  7. Spread frosting over cooled cake base and top with macerated strawberries before cutting into bars.
