  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 6 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups Cool Whip
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (for cheesecake layer)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a food processor, crush pretzels for the crust. Mix with melted butter and sugar; press into a pie plate.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes; cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and cornstarch; boil until thickened. Stir in strawberry Jell-O until dissolved; cool.
  6. Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese mixture and pour the cooled Jell-O on top.
  7. Refrigerate until set, about four hours or overnight.
