  • 8 oz block cream cheese, cold
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons favorite BBQ rub
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free honey
  • Minced parsley, for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Traeger or smoker to 225°F.
  2. Brush the cold cream cheese evenly with olive oil.
  3. Score the top of the cream cheese with diagonal crosshatch marks about 1/2-1 cm deep. Sprinkle BBQ rub all over the block.
  4. Place the scored cream cheese in an 8-10 inch cast iron skillet with the crosshatch side facing up. Smoke at 225°F for two hours until creamy and golden.
  5. Remove from the smoker and drizzle sugar-free honey over the top; garnish with minced parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
