  • 1 lb cooked spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon Americolor Red-Red Food Coloring
  • 1 teaspoon Americolor Navy Blue Food Coloring
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Separate the cooked spaghetti into three portions.
  2. Rinse two-thirds of the spaghetti with water and divide into two gallon-sized zip closure bags.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the plain portion in one bag.
  4. Add red food coloring to one bag and blue food coloring to the other. Mix in two tablespoons of water until colors are absorbed.
  5. Optionally rinse excess color from the pasta before combining.
  6. Coat the remaining one-third of spaghetti with olive oil to prevent color transfer.
  7. Just before serving, mix all spaghetti together for a vibrant presentation.
