- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Chopped green onion (for garnish)
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, white vinegar, honey, minced garlic, water, and sesame oil to create the braising liquid.
- Boil a large pot of water mixed with a splash of vinegar. Add the baby potatoes and cook for 12-15 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked potatoes and pan-fry until golden brown (about 4 minutes).
- Pour the prepared braising liquid over the fried potatoes and simmer for about 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion before serving warm.
