  • 1/4 cup sweet onion (finely diced)
  • 3 tablespoons A-1 Steak Sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • Toppings: American cheese, tomato slices, green leaf lettuce, mustard

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, A-1 steak sauce, chopped onion, and jalapeno. Gently mix until well blended.
  2. 2. Divide the mixture into 3 or 4 equal portions and roll into large meatballs. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to enhance flavor.
  3. 3. Shape each meatball into flat burger patties using a spatula.
  4. 4. Preheat the grill to 500°F then reduce heat to between 350°F and 400°F. Grill patties for about 5–6 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 125°F.
