  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 8 chicken legs (bone-in, skin-on)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow baking dish, whisk together the apple vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken legs skin-side down in the marinade and spoon some marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated chicken legs skin-side down for about 11 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 74 degrees Celsius / 165 degrees Fahrenheit).
  5. Allow the chicken to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
