Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 red onion, shredded
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup seasoned Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh mint
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 English cucumber, finely grated
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, whole milk
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 12 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to broil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, shredded red onion, minced garlic, crumbled feta cheese, egg, seasoned Panko breadcrumbs, fresh mint, fresh parsley, oregano, coriander, cumin, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Roll mixture into balls about 2–3 tablespoons each to yield approximately 15 meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and broil for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While meatballs cook, prepare tzatziki by grating cucumber and squeezing out excess moisture. In another bowl, mix grated cucumber with Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, fresh dill, and salt until smooth.
  6. Serve warm alongside tzatziki sauce.
