  • 1 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 24 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow brownies to cool completely before preparing the frosting.
  7. Mix instant coffee granules with heavy cream; beat unsalted butter until fluffy and gradually add powdered sugar and coffee mixture; spread over cooled brownies.
