- 12 ounces rotini or fusilli pasta
- 1 ½ cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup buttermilk (or whole milk for lighter version)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried chives
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook turkey bacon until crispy (6-8 minutes). Drain on paper towels and chop.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta with turkey bacon, cherry tomatoes, romaine lettuce, green onions, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour dressing over the mixture and toss gently to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving.
