  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • ¼ tsp salt (for frosting)
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until creamy. Add pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, spices, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until combined. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
