  • 10 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough sheet
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground chicken sausage until browned and drain excess grease. In another pan, scramble the eggs until just set.
  2. On a floured surface, unroll and flatten the crescent dough sheet.
  3. Spread scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll into a log, slice into rounds, and place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the cheese sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour and gradually add milk until thickened. Stir in cheddar until melted.
  7. Serve warm with cheese sauce on top.
