  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  2. Transfer to a bowl and mix in breadcrumbs and beaten egg (add cornstarch if using).
  3. Form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot (about 350°F/175°C).
