  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup whole buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 (1 oz) bottles of red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix in cocoa powder, sour cream, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and white vinegar until fully combined. Carefully add food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the batter into the crust and bake for 10 minutes at 325°F before lowering the temperature to 300°F (149°C) for an additional hour and 15 minutes or until set. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing from the springform pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
