  • 18 corn tortillas
  • 1 can (28 oz) green chile enchilada sauce
  • 1 package (16 oz) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 container (8 oz) reduced-fat sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic salt and bake for about 45 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Shred the baked chicken once cooled.
  4. Char tortilla halves over an open flame briefly.
  5. Layer half an inch of enchilada sauce in the baking dish, followed by six tortilla halves.
  6. Add half of the shredded chicken, one-third of the cheese, half of the sour cream, and one-third of the enchilada sauce.
  7. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used.
