  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for the white glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for the white glaze)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for the orange glaze)
  • 34 tbsp fresh orange juice (for the orange glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together cake flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in orange zest and juices.
  3. Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk until just combined.
  4. Pour into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Prepare the white and orange glazes by mixing powdered sugar with milk or orange juice until smooth; drizzle over the cooled cake.
