  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T fresh-squeezed juice
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 T olive oil
  • garlic powder
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • Steak rub (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by combining balsamic vinegar, fresh juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and olive oil in a bowl.
  2. Trim any excess fat from the flank steak and rub it with the chosen steak rub.
  3. Place the seasoned steak into a Ziploc bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat the grill to high heat (450-500F).
  5. Grill the marinated steak for about 3 minutes on each side for grill marks, then cook until reaching an internal temperature of 130F for medium rare.
  6. Let the steak rest covered with foil for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
