3-Cheese Sausage Lasagna Roll-Ups are a comforting and delicious twist on traditional lasagna. These delightful roll-ups feature tender pasta filled with savory ground turkey sausage and a rich blend of ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses, all enveloped in a zesty marinara sauce.   • 12 lasagna noodles (no-boil recommended)
  • 1 pound ground turkey sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (whole milk)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground turkey sausage, ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella, parmesan, and chopped basil until well combined.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish. Take one noodle, spoon about three tablespoons of filling onto it, and roll tightly.
  4. Place each roll-up seam-side down in the baking dish. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the top and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or extra parmesan if desired.
