  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese in another bowl until smooth. Add sour cream, sugar (for filling), and vanilla; mix until silky.
  3. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and bake for 30-35 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center.
  5. Cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating for at least two hours.
  6. Cut into bars and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
