  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers (rinsed)
  • 8 cups water (divided)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Optional garnish: 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine dried hibiscus flowers, 4 cups of water, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. Cover and reduce heat; let simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  4. Strain out hibiscus flowers using a colander.
  5. Add remaining 4 cups of water to dilute as desired.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  7. Serve over ice and enjoy!
