  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Wash the string beans under cold water and trim the ends. Slice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of oil and sauté the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet; stir for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Incorporate the string beans into the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Mix soy sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch in a small bowl; pour this mixture into the skillet and stir well until everything is coated.
  6. Cook together for an additional couple of minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot.
