  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (plus extra for decoration)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and eggs until fluffy; mix in the milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, gently folding in the crushed Oreos.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  6. While cooling, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form; gradually add powdered sugar and crushed Oreos.
  7. Frost one cake layer, add the second layer on top, then frost the top and sides of the entire cake. Decorate with remaining crushed Oreos.
