  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • allspice
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Spray the bottom of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and add the frozen meatballs.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Whisk in flour to create a roux until lightly golden brown.
  3. Gradually add beef broth and heavy cream to the roux while whisking until smooth and slightly thickened. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the prepared gravy over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4–5 hours until heated through.
