  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add one egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mash the bananas and combine with melted butter, sugars, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla until mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this to the banana mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour some banana batter into each loaf pan, top with cream cheese mixture, then cover with remaining banana batter.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
