  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups egg noodles or diced potatoes
