  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup chopped Oreo cookies
  • 1.5 quarts Cookies and Cream ice cream, softened
  • 2 cups whipped cream (or store-bought)
  • Additional chopped Oreo cookies for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans and dust them with flour.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually mix in the cake flour, baking powder, salt, and whole milk until fully combined. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  4. Divide the batter between the prepared pans and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  5. Once cooled, layer one cake on a platter, spread softened ice cream over it, then top with the second layer.
  6. Frost with whipped cream and garnish with additional chopped Oreos.
