Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 slices thick-cut bread (brioche or Texas toast)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for cinnamon sugar coating)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on four slices of bread and top with remaining slices to form sandwiches.
  3. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
