  • 1 lb. Ziti Pasta
  • 1.5 cups Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 teaspoons White Sugar
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 medium Red Onion
  • 1 large Carrot
  • 2 stems Celery
  • 2 tablespoons diced Pimientos with liquid
  • 1 lb. Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente. Rinse under cold water and drain.
  2. Finely dice the red onion, bell pepper, and celery; toss in a large bowl with celery salt and celery seed.
  3. Grate the carrot and add to the vegetable mixture along with diced pimientos.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, and white sugar; mix in additional celery salt if desired.
  5. Combine all ingredients in the vegetable bowl including the cooled pasta and diced cheddar cheese; fold gently to incorporate.
  6. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
