Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (to tie the flavor together)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente (9-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a skillet with olive oil and butter over medium-high heat, sear the steak tips for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and keep warm.
  4. Lower heat and add butter to the skillet; sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, milk, and cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses along with Cajun seasoning; stir until melted. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce to coat evenly. Serve topped with steak tips and garnish with parsley.
