  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk (more if needed)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 810 medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil cubed potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Dry salmon fillets and coat with olive oil and Cajun seasoning. Pan-sear over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. For the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk while stirring until thickened. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil; sauté broccoli for 2-3 minutes before adding shrimp along with paprika, salt, and pepper until shrimp are pink.
  5. Plate the salmon next to mashed potatoes topped with gravy and serve with shrimp-broccoli sauté.
