  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 40 g sugar
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 50 g sugar (for the cream)
  • Nut brittle for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and dice the apples. In a pot, combine with water, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Simmer for 10 minutes until tender. Allow to cool.
  2. Make the cream: Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. In a bowl, mix mascarpone, low-fat quark, and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
  3. Assemble: Layer half of the cream mixture into glasses, followed by half of the apple mixture. Repeat layers and finish with remaining apples on top.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate until ready to serve. Before serving, sprinkle with nut brittle for added crunch.
