  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by melting butter in a saucepan, adding diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook until softened.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry and add to the apple mixture until thickened. Let cool.
