  • 1 15.25 ounce box Yellow cake mix or Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • ½ cup apple sauce
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine dry cake mix, apple cider, applesauce, and eggs; beat until smooth.
  3. Mix in cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla until well blended.
  4. Pour batter into a greased bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool for 20 minutes on a wire rack before removing from the pan.
  6. While cooling, mix remaining sugar with cinnamon. Brush warm cake with melted butter and coat evenly with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
