1 1/2 cups cooked short grain rice or jasmine rice
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 egg
½ tsp vegetable oil
½ tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1 tbsp finely chopped green onion
Instructions
Mix hot cooked rice with butter in a large mixing bowl until combined.
Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Crack the egg into the pan and fry sunny side up or to your desired doneness.
Place the fried egg over the buttered rice in your serving bowl and garnish with sesame seeds, sesame oil, chopped green onions, and soy sauce to taste.
Break the egg and mix everything before enjoying hot.
